Before aortic valve replacement procedure
Before performing TAVI or SAVR on you, your doctor might:
Conduct a CT scan to assess which procedure is right for you1
Recommend a dental check-up to reduce the chance of infections1
Suggest diet modifications or changes to your regular medication regimen2
Ask you if you are allergic to any drugs3
To help you plan ahead, check with your doctor on how long you might need to stay at the hospital after your procedure.
